Gathering Energy, Protecting the Future with Intelligence – Baolijia Waterproofing Industry Grand Event

As the saying goes, a grand gathering signifies great success, and an industry holds great promise. A long-awaited grand event for the waterproofing industry finally concluded amidst cheers and laughter.

On May 19th, the "19th Waterproofing and Insulation Technology Exchange Conference," hosted by the Waterproofing and Insulation Materials Professional Committee of the Building Materials Branch of the Chinese Silicate Society and co-organized by the Beijing Green Label Building Materials Industry Technology Alliance, was grandly held at the Xiamen Beihai Bay Huilong Wanda Realm Hotel. Our company participated in this conference as one of the organizers.

The conference, themed "Gathering Energy, Intelligent Protection for the Future," invited over 800 participants, including representatives from building waterproofing companies across the country, waterproofing professionals, news media, relevant universities, and leaders from national departments. The conference brought the most cutting-edge industry policies and information to the waterproofing industry.

The conference was chaired by Professor Shen Chunlin. Among the key industry leaders who participated and delivered important speeches were He Kewen, Senior Engineer (Professor-level) of the Shenzhen Branch of the Third Survey and Design Institute of the Ministry of Railways; Cui Qi, Dean of the Building Materials Branch of the China Building Materials Academy and Chairman of the Building Materials Branch of the Chinese Silicate Society; Kong Xianming, Secretary-General of the Waterproofing and Thermal Insulation Materials Professional Committee of the Chinese Silicate Society; Tan Chunli, Vice President of the Beijing Building Materials Research Institute and Chairman of the Beijing Green Label Building Materials Industry Technology Alliance; Qu Peihua, President of the Shenzhen Building Waterproofing Association; Tong Lingmei, Editor-in-Chief of the China Building Materials Industry Press; Xu Yongzhang, Secretary-General of the Fujian Building Waterproofing Association; Wang Yangling, President of the Xiangcheng Waterproofing Association; Xu Weijie, Honorary Chairman of the Taiwan Construction and Waterproofing Association; Zheng Jiayu, President of the Shouguang Waterproofing Industry Association; and Gong An, President of the Jilin Waterproofing Association.

At the meeting, under the chairmanship of Professor Shen Chunlin, a grand launch ceremony and awarding ceremony were held for the book "Non-curing Rubber Asphalt Waterproof Coatings." The China Building Materials Industry Press specially established the "China Building Materials Industry Press Building Waterproofing Editorial Department" for the building waterproofing industry. Professor Shen stated that waterproofing professionals now have a green channel for publishing books.

From the Outstanding Entrepreneur Award for Building Waterproofing and Insulation in China, the First Village Award for Building Waterproofing, the Founder of Modern Waterproofing and Damp-proofing, to the cooperation unit of the Central Enterprise Research Institute, each award-winning enterprise is a unit that has made significant contributions to the entire waterproofing industry. While sincerely congratulating them, we also hope that more waterproofing professionals can devote themselves wholeheartedly to the waterproofing industry and jointly create a more brilliant chapter for the waterproofing industry.

Inside the venue, one enthusiastic speech after another took place, while outside, various companies showcased their best products to the waterproofing industry nationwide.

Professor Shen, in particular, provided an introduction and analysis of the current industry market and product technology characteristics, delivering a brilliant technical presentation that captivated everyone's attention.

Finally, the organizing committee meticulously prepared a feast for the ears and eyes—a high-class thank-you dinner. The dinner featured a variety of activities, and Professor Shen Chunlin delivered a toast.

The exquisite performances and exciting lucky draw repeatedly brought the evening to a climax. More than ten industry awards were presented at the banquet, and our company was among those honored: China's Quality and Integrity Enterprise in Building Waterproofing and Insulation, Excellent Enterprise in China's Building Waterproofing Emulsion Industry, Excellent Supplier in China's Building Waterproofing and Insulation Industry, and Science and Technology Progress Award in China's Building Waterproofing and Insulation Industry. The beautiful voice of Mr. Qiu Dawei, the classic songs of Hai Waterproofing, and the interactive performances by three well-known singers from the "Avenue of Stars" talent show invited by Mr. Shao of Beijing Jundun Waterproofing Company repeatedly brought the audience to a fever pitch. Finally, the renowned singer Zhuang Ni captivated the audience with her rendition of "Chinese Dream," bringing the 19th National Waterproofing and Insulation Technology Exchange Conference to a perfect close.

We eagerly anticipate the 20th anniversary of the Waterproofing 518 Conference in 2018, which promises to bring even more surprises, technologies, new products, and joy!
